Location: West Phuket, about a 40-minute drive from Phuket International Airport.
Patong is Phuket’s biggest tourist hub, and it’s not always the most family-friendly—especially at night. That said, you can absolutely find family resorts here with great facilities and easy access to attractions. Patong Beach itself can get crowded, but there are quieter pockets, especially around private hotels.
Family amenities: Large resorts offer huge pools, kids’ clubs, and water-sports activities. Jungceylon Mall is great for shopping and entertainment, including a movie theater and kid-friendly activities.
